SINTEF presented a paper on MANUSQUARE’s work on the semantic matchmaking algorithm for capacity exchange in manufacturing supply chains, at 11 th International Conference on Knowledge Engineering and Ontology Development, that took place in Vienna, Austria, from the 17 th till the 19 th September 2019.
Knowledge Engineering refers to all technical, scientific and social aspects involved in building, maintaining and using knowledge-based systems, being a multidisciplinary field and dealing with the construction of shared conceptual frameworks, often designated as ontologies. Domain specific ontologies for industrial sectors are a building block of the MANUSQUARE platform supporting the foreseen matchmaking. This conference was thus a privileged forum for the presentation of MANUSQUARE project results towards the scientific community.
