On May 23rd and 24th, the MANUSQUARE consortium gathered for a general assembly and project meeting, in Porto and Vale de Cambra, Portugal, respectively. Devoted to the deployment of a platform-enabled market place and tools that will bring to life the dynamic matching of the demand and offer of manufacturing capabilities and the fast and efficient creation of local and distributed value networks, this event marked the 6th month of development of the MANUSQUARE project.
The project meeting addressed to the follow up of the developments and specifically enabled the discussion on the preliminary results achieved and the development of working sessions on identification of stakeholder and platform requirements, on data models and on community building. Additionally, parallel sessions were within the sectorial pilots foreseen in the project, notably the silk and cosmetics manufacturing and industrial automation.
